Getting Fancy with Extended Courses

It is possible to lay down separate courses for rookie and pro trucks to follow.  For example, in Crazy 98 the rookie and intermediate trucks follow the dirt road detour but the pro trucks jump over the bridge (use view pod file to see the set up).  This makes the track more enjoyable for rookies, and more competitive for pro racers.

The table displays a summary of what each course controls.

Trucks follow course 2 when playing in professional mode. The helicopter and race cam work on both courses 1 and 2.  1 if you are in rookie or intermediate mode, and 2 if you are in professional mode.

Please note that if the trucks miss the course, then they are off to never never land. That's why it is important to start them off near a course segment. They must pick up a segment from the start.

If the rookie trucks appear to follow course 0 when you are first making your track, it is by sheer coincidence. They are not held there by anything substantial.
